Hearty congratulations to @pichetklunchundancecompany, @patpat.mit and the Cyber Subin team for our win of the AI Creative Future Grand Prix Award a couple of months ago! It was such an honor and pleasure to be part of this historical and technological resynthesis of Thai dance and music with an all-star team. I found some fun team pictures of our premiere at the Taiwan International Festival of the Arts in 2024! Good memories!!

Cyber Subin left a long lasting impression on me. Some of the techniques I developed in analyzing Thai rhythms for this project now form the core approach to rhythmic structure in my current Thai electronic music. It's also one of the main reasons I was so excited to take part in @pichetklunchundancecompany's recent Khon workshop.

The jury stated: "We highly commended this ambitious endeavor to integrate traditional Thai dance with AI, challenging the boundaries of 'Human-AI co-dancing.' It is particularly noteworthy that the artistic quality of the work was firmly underpinned by the dancers' exceptional technical skills. Furthermore, the supporting materials, which modeled the physical principles and gestures of traditional Thai dance in CG to present them visually and analytically, were deeply intriguing, offering fresh insights from both cultural and technological perspectives."
