Wallifornia is an annual Music+Tech conference held in Belgium from July 1-3 focusing on the intersection of music and technology. It emphasizes a collaborative, egalitarian atmosphere with no VIP lounges—just one community where everyone shares ideas over Belgian beer. And the beer was indeed great! It was my first time in Liege and my first time in Belgium. One of my favorite talks from the event was on the state of the Indian Music Market by Roochay Shukla (IN) — Head of Creative Marketing at Believe, as well as deep dive into the changing dynamics of what it means to be superfan in 2025 by Hanna Kahlert (UK) — Senior Social Analyst at MIDIA Research. One of my favorite music tech conferences so far - an excellent collection of industry experts and artists!
